SUMMARY:Christmas Trees Now On Sale to Support Durward's Glen Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Christmas trees 7-12 feet tall are now on sale for $30 at the Portage St Vincent De Paul Society at 1311 W Wisconsin St\, Portage\, WI 53901.  Our thanks to our generous donors for providing the trees.\n\n \n\nAll funds raised go to Durward's Glen Retreat and Educational Center.  The Glen provides affordable housing for individual retreats\, and groups looking for meeting space for leadership retreats\, craft getaways\, family gatherings\, or spiritual retreats in their historic Log Lodge. \n\n \n\nThe grounds\, which includes 37 acres of trout streams and wet lands\, the Glen\, and multiple shrines and grottoes\, is open to the public daily from dawn until dusk.  In winter\, it's a great place for snowshoeing and hiking.  The Log Lodge is a perfect location for hosting family members during the holidays or having nearby lodging while you spent the day downhill skiing at Devils Head and Cascade Mountain\, or cross-country skiing at Devils State Park.\n\n \n\nPlease contact Cathy Lins\, Director at Durward's Glen Retreat and Educational Center at 608-356-8113 for more information.
