Feel unsure of how to check in with them?\n\n\n\nCOMET provides participants with a guide on how to do the following:\n\n\n\n  Start a conversation that could be potentially emotional\n\n  Be present and supportive but not "fix it"\n\n  Exit the conversation gracefully by offering resources\, follow-up or next steps\n\n\n\nRural communities and farm families value supporting each other in times of need and that should extend to those who are in a vulnerable emotional state. What better way to show you care than to provide a listening ear? \n\n\n\nCOMET empowers friends and neighbors to be more prepared to support others' mental health needs   especially before a crisis occurs.\n\n\n\nThis training is free and will take place Friday\, October 16\, 1-3pm at the Sauk Prairie Healthcare Conference Center\, 260 26th Street\, Prairie du Sac.
