Courtesy of our sponsor\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\nA Junk Journal is a handmade book of recycled and found materials and ephemera. The pages can be used to write\, draw\, paint or insert and record memories\, thoughts\, ideas\, and inspiration. The finished junk journal can become anything you want.\n\n\n\nEphemera: items of collectible memorabilia\, typically written or printed ones: old book pages\, newspapers\, magazines\, old greeting cards\, jewelry\, ribbon\, lace\, fabric\, stamps\, stamping\, doilies\, \, etc. etc. What appeals to you or items you treasure can be saved in a journal. Adhesive: Glue sticks and/or double sided tape.\n\n\n\nEmbellishment: Some pens that will work on whatever kind of paper you use\n\n\n\nWhat do you write or what do you record in a junk journal?\n\n\n\nIdeas on how to use or write in a junk journal\n\n1. Daily journaling (whether you write a full page or just a sentence)\n\n2. To-do lists\, planning\, and budget tracking.\n\n3. Record your hopes\, wishes\, dreams\, goals\, bucket lists\, etc.\n\n4. Record your favorite and most special memories.\n\n5. Create of book of photos and memorabilia of a loved family member\n\n6. Record memories of travels\n\n7. and whatever you desire!\n\n\n\nWhat we will do in this workshop: We will create the "signatures" to go inside your junk journal and then begin the design and decoration of the inside pages together after which we will make and decorate the covers for our Journals. Bring items of ephemera\; anything in your collection of memories. There will be items the instructor will also bring for you to use.
