DESCRIPTION:The Dorf Haus\, Bavarian  style supper club. Roxbury\, near Sauk City\, keeps Oktoberfest oompah-pah alive on Sunday\, October 9\, when the Dorf Kapelle 16-piece show band takes center stage. A Bavarian buffet including Kasseler Ripchen\, Sauerbraten\, Spatzle\, Red Cabbage\, German Potato Salad and more\, will be served starting at noon with the performance from 1-3 p.m. The bar opens at 10:30 a.m.\n\n \n\nCapturing the traditional ethnic style of a typical European village band\, the Dorf Kapelle Show Band performs waltzes\, marches and polkas using accordions\, trombones\, tubas\, alphorns and more. \n\n \n\nRebecca Maier-Frey\, a co-owner of the family-owned Dorf Haus\, said the Dorf Kapelle\, translated "village band" is an all-time annual favorite and tradition during Oktoberfest.
