The donation is to honor her mother Betty Maier\, who is diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.\n\n\n\nVern and Betty Maier\, who opened the Dorf Haus in Roxbury 52 years ago\, now own the restaurant with two of their children\, Rebecca and Monte.\n\n\n\nThanksgiving buffet\, served from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.\, is $16.25 for adults\; $5.95 for children ages 5-l0 years old and $2 for tots four and under.
