SUMMARY:Garden in a Box Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Informational seminar on planting a garden using the "Square Foot Gardening" approach. Topics discussed include introductory gardening techniques\, site selection\, soil mix\, basic construction\, plant selection\, and tips/tricks. Upon completion of the seminar\, all guests shall receive their own 4' x 4' raised bed planter with prescribed soilless mixture. Construction and planting of your own gardening box will be demonstrated. Plants and seeds will also be distributed to fill your garden bed (while they last). Guests will be able to assemble their garden at home in less than 30 minutes. No previous skills required!
