DESCRIPTION:The Ekaterinburg (Kat) Trio\n\nat River Arts on Water (downtown) | 590 Water St\, Prairie du Sac\, WI 53578\n\nFriday\, October 11th\, 2019 | 7pm-8pm\n\nDoors open at 6:15pm.\n\nThe violin-clarinet-piano ensemble from Ekaterinburg\, Russia was formed in May 1998 in\n\nEkaterinburg by three friends Victoria Gorbich (violin)\, Vladislav Gorbich (clarinet) and\n\nVasil Galiulin (piano). They had just graduated from the Ural State Music Conservatory.\n\nToday "The Kat Trio" is Victoria\, Vladislav and pianist Joseph Ross. Victoria and Vlad are\n\ndoctoral graduates of Arizona State University. Joseph is a graduate of Lawrence University\n\nand the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest\, Hungary. Their concerts showcase\n\nunique Russian arrangements and transpositions of timeless melodies and feature classical\n\nworks\, well-known inspirational songs\, and even American pop standards\, including Scott\n\nJoplin's rags.\n\nSponsored by Vintage Brewing Co. Sauk Prairie\n\n\nHouse concerts are casual\, intimate\, solo or small ensemble musical performances that take place right in the River Arts on Water Gallery.  No tickets are required\, but a $5-$10 donation at the door is appreciated.  All proceeds benefit River Arts Inc. programs.
