In recognition of their pioneering work with sustainable farming practices\, the couple were awarded the prestigious Organic Farmer of the Year award by Marbleseed (formerly known as MOSES) in 2020.\n\n \n\nDuring Open Farm Day\, there will be two consecutive tours at 12:30 and 2:30pm\, that will be repeated so you can catch both. Jane will tour her Chakra and Planetary garden\, along with the medicinal plant production fields\, sharing insights on planting\, harvesting\, drying\, and the benefits of medicinal herbs along the way. David will take attendees on a hay wagon tour of the farm's natural areas featuring the natural history of the area\, its native plants\, and an organic prairie restoration.
