DESCRIPTION:Exhibit Start: Mar 7\, 2014 Exhibit Ends: May 6\, 2014\n\n\n\nRiver Arts\, Inc. is issuing a call for artists to submit their vision of "Wings & Water." Both 2-D\, 3-D\, and mixed media work may be entered. Accepted work will be selected by the juror\, Martha Glowacki and displayed at The River Arts Center. Glowacki is a sculptor and holds an MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Currently the Director of the Wisconsin Academy James Watrous Gallery\, her work has been exhibited at the Michael Lord Gallery in Milwaukee\, the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design\, the Elvehjem Museum of Art (currently the Chazen Museum of Art) and the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art: Youth Art Month: A showcase of student artwork from the Sauk Prairie School District grades Kindergarten-12th grade. \n\n\n\nThe River Arts Center Gallery is open to the public on school days from 8:00am -8:00pm. Summer hours are 8:00am-3:00pm Monday through Thursday and Friday 8:00am - Noon. In addition to hosting art exhibitions\, the gallery also holds meetings and performances. Please check the calendar or call 608-643-5906 to see if it is being used before you visit. Please enter through the high school main entrance (E-1) during schools hours or the RAC garden entrance (E-3) across from the garden on the North side of the RAC after school. If you would like a guided tour of the gallery\, you may schedule a docent through info@RiverArtsInc.org.
