DESCRIPTION:After a long absence\, Wollersheim Winery's COQUARD Brandy is back with its second batch! \n\n \n\nLast spring marked the first release of the winery's brandy\, which became legal for Wisconsin wineries to produce as recently as 2009.\n\n\n\nOn May 1\, 2\, and 3\, 2014\, Wollersheim Winery opens its doors to the public for another taste at its second COQUARD Brandy Release.\n\n\nThe celebration\, which spans three days from Thursday to Saturday\, offers daily self-guided tours that feature a look at the copper still that produces the brandy and visits to the vineyard and the historic wine cave. Along the tour route are tastings of a selection of Wollersheim wines\, as well as the newest brandy. On Saturday\, additional activities include music from the Daniel Anderson Trio and barrel-making demonstrations by cooper Francis Durand\, who makes actual Wollersheim barrels.\n\n \n\nWollersheim Winery produced more COQUARD Brandy this year than last\, and the weekend promises to be full of activities\, so please attend any one of the three event days.
