DESCRIPTION:Prairie du Sac\, Wis. Raise a glass to those who have served our country at Wollersheim Winery's Holiday Salute to Our Veterans event December 13\, 2014\, from 1 to 4 p.m. The event is a fundraiser for Badger Honor Flight and takes place at Wollersheim Winery.\n\n \n\nBadger Honor Flight flies veterans of World War II and the Korean War to Washington DC to visit their respective wars' memorials. Four such flights are scheduled out of Dane County Regional Airport in 2015\, and each flight carries about 90 veterans at a cost of around $500 per veteran. Funding comes primarily from individual donors.\n\n \n\nAt the event\, enjoy Wollersheim wine by the glass and dance to vintage music from the 11-piece All That Jazz Big Band in the winery's Sugarloaf Room. Tickets ($10) are available at the winery before and on the event day\, and include a complimentary glass of select Wollersheim wine. Cash or checks (made out to Badger Honor Flight) are accepted.
