DESCRIPTION:Youth Art Camp: Stuffed Pizza Plushie Pillows!\n\nTues\, Wed\, and Thurs\, Aug 7-9\, 2018 | 1-3pm all three days | 590 Water St\, PdS\, WI\n\nIt's a pizza party at River Arts! In this three day art camp for kids ages 8-11\, we will learn the basics of sewing to create a giant\, "stuffed crust" pizza fiber pillow! We'll work with felt\, thread\, hand-stitching needles\, and all manner of buttons\, beads\, and baubles we can use as toppings for our pizza.\n\nDay 1: Drawing and cutting out a pattern for the crust\, sauce\, and batting filling. Work on pinning fabric together\, cutting it out\, stuffing\, and stitching closed\n\nDay 2: We'll add the sauce (more felt)\, and cut out felt scraps for cheese\, peppers\, onions\, mushrooms\, olives\, and any other toppings kids would like to add. Toppings will also be 3D   that means pinning them together\, stuffing\, and sewing shut all the shapes we make. We will also sew big red buttons on to be our pepperoni.\n\nDay 3: Finish sewing our toppings\, then work on attaching them to the pizza. Add puffy paint for parmesan cheese or red pepper flakes if desired. Then\, celebrate with a PIZZA PARTY! On the last day of art camp\, we'll order in pizza to celebrate our creations!
