Join us as we celebrate the completion of the Merrimac Bridge Rehabilitation Project—a major investment in regional infrastructure, economic vitality, and the future of freight rail in Sauk County.
Originally constructed in the late 1800s, the bridge has been fully modernized through a multi-phase partnership led by WisDOT, WRRTC, and WSOR. This project strengthens regional industry, connects communities, and preserves a vital rail corridor for years to come.
