The Sauk Prairie Area Literacy Council (SPALC) serves adults in the Sauk Prairie area who wish to improve their functional literacy skills and navigate the English language more successfully.
The Village of Prairie du Sac was incorporated in 1885 and is located approximately 20 miles northwest of Madison, on the banks of the Wisconsin River and the Great Sauk State Trail.
