Into the Woods Perf

Into the Woods is a Broadway Tony Award musical about what happens when we wish for things without really thinking it all through first. Four classic fairytales are woven together (Jack in the Beanstalk, Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, and Rapunzel) in order to provide a framework for the musical's leading characters, a Baker and his Wife, to find the ingredients for a potion that will help them remove a curse on their family tree. With music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and a wonderfully fun book written by James Lapine, the story is both entertaining and inspiring with music that represents some of Sondheim's finest work.
