Workshop: Nature Journaling with Cynthia Quinn

Saturday-Sunday, May 20-21, 2017 | 9:30am-4:30pm both days

Combine your interests in art and nature by starting a sketchbook journal in this two-day workshop. Start with the basics of drawing fundamentals, then begin to explore using various media. Pen and ink, watercolor pencil, and watercolor techniques will be presented along with ways to incorporate words or poems, and decorative borders. Cynthia will present many examples from her journals, give brief demonstrations to generate ideas and will work one on one with students to assist as you get started. Cynthia has been teaching this popular class for a number of years to students of all levels of experience. Beginniners are welcome.

Cynthia Quinn has been painting in oils and watercolor for 25 years, and is a signature member of the Transparent Watercolor Society of America. The reason she paints? She never tires of the challenges and how it develops her awareness of the world around her.
