Position Summary

4-C is seeking a full-time Bilingual Certification Specialist to support early childhood professionals and help ensure compliance with child care regulations throughout our service area.

Responsibilities

• Support early childhood professionals by conducting visits to in-home child care businesses.
• Enforce and interpret child care regulations.
• Provide equitable services through Spanish and English communication across multiple programs.
• Conduct regular site visits; administrative work may be completed remotely from home.

Qualifications

• Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
• Experience in the child care field using both languages is preferred.
• Associate degree and two (2) years of experience, or four (4) years of related experience in:
  • Social Work
  • Child and Family Studies
  • Early Childhood Education
  • Or a related field
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand and apply complex regulations.
• Ability to work occasional evenings.
• Must have reliable transportation for travel within the 9-county service area (mileage reimbursement provided).
