Full Time AEMT & Full Time Administrative Assistant
Sauk Prairie Ambulance Association (SPAA) is seeking candidates for Full-Time EMT or Advanced EMT positions to work 36-40 hours per week: day, nights and weekend shifts, with the opportunity for overtime.
Successful applicants must have current EMS licensure by the State of Wisconsin and at least one years’ experience as an EMT, Advanced EMT or Paramedic. Qualified applicants must pass a background check, insurability review and have current unrestricted WI EMT/AEMT/Paramedic and driver’s licenses.
Essential Functions:
• Perform all aspects of EMS care at emergency scenes
• Regular skill and patient care training with crews
• Stay up to date with current medical practices and technology
• Public Education
• Office duties: QA/QI, Billing, record keeping, scheduling
• Routine maintenance of department equipment
• Routine daily maintenance of department facility
• Other duties as assigned by the Director
Required Qualifications:
• Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License
• Wisconsin Licensed AEMT or Paramedic
• Health Care Provider CPR Certified
• Legible writing, reasonable report writing/documentation, and advanced level computer skills in programs such as Microsoft Office and Image Trend
• EVOC (CEVO-3 Level or higher)
• ICS 100, 200, 700 and 800
• Ability to lift more than 50lbs regularly
Starting Wage and Benefits:
• Starting pay range $20-$25/hr.

The Sauk Prairie Ambulance Association has an approximate call volume of 1,500-1,600 calls per year with 3 ambulances covering a 200 sq. mile district in parts of 3 Counties. Special Operations include a Bike Medic team, Community CPR classes and participation in the Sauk Co. Search and Rescue team.
