Curiosity Collection No. 8 Release - Vintage Red Dress Whiskey

Join us to experience a guided tasting with Distiller Tom Lenerz and taste 3 expressions of Wollersheim Round Top Rye Whiskey. You will sample Round Top Rye, the award-winning Single Barrel Rye Whiskey, and the 8th release in our Curiosity Collection; Vintage Red Dress. The tasting can only be purchased in store.

There are fewer than 300 bottles of this whiskey.

Vintage Red Dress is the second of two barrels of whiskey produced using our Round Top Rye mash bill and aged entirely in used red port barrels from the winery. The first barrel was released in the spring of 2019 after spending 2 years aging in the port barrels. This release has spent an additional 4 years in port barrels, for a total time of 6 years and 85 days.

Vintage Red Dress is the eighth release in our Curiosity Collection. The Curiosity Collection showcases unique tweaks to our distilling traditions. Each release introduces unique variations of fruit or grain varieties, barrel types, or production techniques.

Red Dress will be available beginning at 12 pm in the distillery store and the featured tasting will take place at 4 pm. Cheers!
