Conserving the Apple Trees of Badger: Update and Next steps

Dr. Curt Meine, Senior Fellow, Aldo Leopold Foundation, and founding member of the Sauk Prairie Conservation Alliance.

More than 175 apple tree have been located on the lands of the former Badger Army Ammunition Plant, many of them predating the construction of the plant in 1942. Curt will provide an update on what we have learned about these trees and discuss next steps in working with the Badger land owners to conserve them.
