Flaxen Fleece is seeking a creative and motivated Summer Social Media Intern to help bring our brand to life online. This is a great opportunity for a student or emerging creative looking to build hands-on experience in content creation, storytelling, and brand development within a small, values-driven retail business.

What You’ll Do:

· Create engaging content for Instagram and Facebook

· Photograph products (flat lays, in-store shots, styled scenes)

· Film and edit short-form videos (Reels, behind-the-scenes, product features)

· Develop fresh, on-brand content ideas and campaigns

· Write captions that reflect our voice and values

· Help maintain a consistent posting schedule

What We’re Looking For:

· Strong understanding of Instagram and Facebook trends and tools

· Creativity and a good eye for aesthetics, composition, and lighting

· Basic photography, videography, and editing skills

· Ability to work within an established brand identity

· Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently

Details:

· Very part-time: ~6 hours per week

· Seasonal: May/June through August

· Flexible scheduling

This role is perfect for someone who loves storytelling, visual content, and wants to gain real-world experience managing social media for a thoughtfully curated, community-focused shop.
